Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center High School Speech Department is holding an event on Friday.

Individual Events Speech Coach Jessica Fridley says that they are having the first Individual Events Speech Showcase this week. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio why they are holding the event.

“Just so that way all parents and families can see everybody perform as well as all the students can perform. We’ll do like awards from Walnut Hill. We’ll do awards if we get an Allstate nomination and do a recognition for them.”

Fridley mentions that the students have put in a lot of work, especially with everything else that goes on during the Individual Events Speech season, so she’s excited for them to have this kind of fun setting to show off that work. The event is Friday night at AC/GC High School, and begins at 7pm.
