He is survived by his four children: Kristi (Jonathan) Hayes of Loveland, OH, Kyle (Amanda) Kinne of Jefferson, IA, Samantha (Brian) McClain of Fort Dodge, IA, and Reed (Megan) Kinne of Altoona, IA; 14 grandchildren:  Jaxson Hayes, Jillian Hayes, Jewett Hayes III, Jonah Hayes, Kadrick Kinne, Kamden Kinne, Kylie Kinne, Mya McClain, Dominic McClain, M. Gavin McClain, Victoria McClain, Maria McClain, Tenley Kinne, and Kypten Kinne; Sisters:  Ramona Kinne, and Janice (Darrell) Hawthorne; nephew, Jeremie Kinne; other relatives; and friends.
