A Coon Rapids man suffered injuries following a tractor rollover incident in Guthrie County last week.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, first responders and law enforcement responded to the crash on Friday, March 21st at 4:23pm. The crash reports indicate that 62-year-old Daniel Royer was traveling north in the 1800 block of Chestnut Avenue when his John Deere tractor lost power which caused the vehicle to swerve across the southbound lane and Royer and the tractor entered the ditch and the tractor rolled over.

The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says a passerby saw that Royer was crawling out from under the tractor and called 911. Royer was then taken to the Audubon County Fairgrounds where an air ambulance took him to a Des Moines hospital with suspected serious injuries. The tractor was totaled from the crash.
