A Memorial Mass for Jean Fountain, age 95, of Jefferson, will be held at 10:30am Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jefferson, Iowa. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa. Memorials in Jean’s name are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Jefferson Public Library.
Surviving are four children: Linda (Randy) Hedges of Jefferson, IA; David (Linda) Fountain of Grand Junction, IA; Darrell (Melody) Fountain of Carlisle, PA; and Mary Ann Fountain of Boulder, CO; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Donna Smith of Yreka, CA; other relatives and friends.
