The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.

The Board adopted the resolution that directs Guthrie County Attorney Dana Minteer to file a petition to intervene on behalf of Guthrie County in Iowa Utilities Commission docket number HLP-2024-0004. They then heard from Information Technology Director Brian Hoffman on the projects his department has worked on since the beginning of the calendar year, including taking out some old wiring and upgrading a few systems.

The Board then approved a resolution awarding a nearly $345,000 contract to Midwest Contractors, Inc for the pavement patching of Springbrook Road near Yale, and authorizing County Engineer Josh Sebern to sign the contract. They also held a public hearing regarding the proposed fiscal year 2025-26 property tax notice.
