The Perry Public Library is requesting assistance from residents as they gear up for a brand new program in 2025.

According to Youth Services Librarian Laura Pieper, the library is finalizing the details about an upcoming Lego Club that will be happening this summer. She explains that in order for the new club to have a successful launch, people will need to bring in Legos. Pieper reveals that there is no limit to the number of Legos you can drop off.

“I’m sure we’ll need lots of Legos, trust me. So, just bring them in as you see fit and we’ll let you know if we don’t need anymore, but I’m sure that won’t be an issue.”

Pieper outlines that people can deliver the Legos in sets, partial sets, figures, or bring a whole bin full of them. However, she stresses that the Legos either need to be brand new or gently used, and to drop them off at the library circulation desk. Pieper says that more information will be announced closer to the summer. Any questions can be directed to the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
