The Perry Chamber of Commerce’s Big Boom Bracket Battle is nearing its end as two individuals remain.

Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti announces following the end of the third round, Perry Fire Chief Grason Hill and Paige Scheib of Edward Jones are the two people left to potentially take a pie to the face. She details that the third round brought in $725 for Perry’s 4th of July Fireworks Show, and the total amount now sits at $3,960.20. Pasutti reveals that Hill defeated Sarah Reimers of the Perry Booster Club, while Scheib beat Des Moines Area Community College VanKirk Career Academy Director Eddie Diaz. 

She emphasizes that the final round of donations will be taken now through this coming Tuesday at noon. After that, the winner will be announced and will receive a pie to the face during the Annual Dinner that night on Tuesday and will be live streamed on the Perry Chamber’s Facebook page.
