The Dallas Center-Grimes Esports team kicked off the Mario Kart spring season on Tuesday and faced off against the Cedar Rapids Kennedy Cougars. The Mustangs found success, defeating the Cougars 2-0 in the season opener.

Dallas Center-Grimes faced off against the Cougars in a best of three races series, and would race on the maps Moo Moo Meadows and Mario Circuit. Dallas Center-Grimes would win both races, to pick up the shut out victory against Cedar Rapids Kennedy.

The Mustangs return to the digital race track on Tuesday, April 1st for competitive Mario Kart action against Iowa City West. Mustang esports action for Mario Kart matches are schedule for Tuesday for the spring season.
