An athlete from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Basketball Team ended his high school career being recognized inside the conference.
ADM senior Cade Fisher has been selected Honorable Mention for the Raccoon River Conference during the 2024-25 season. He tied the school record with 19 rebounds in the first round of the state tournament against Storm Lake, grabbed 229 rebounds total ranking third in the RRC, and had 55 blocks for second in the conference. Head Coach Trevor Mickelson was very pleased with his effort after battling injury in his junior year.
“We weren’t sure what we were going to get, and he exceeded every single expectation we had and so he is just going to be irreplaceable. His physicality in the post and kind of controlling the paint and cleaning up rebounds and he is the catalyst for us defensively because he was such an imposing presence down in the paint.”
During his final year for the Tigers, Fisher also scored 190 points shooting 54 percent, made five three pointers, had 48 assists and 22 steals. ADM finished 22-5 on the season, and lost to Clear Lake in the state semifinals on March 13th.
