The United States Small Business Administration is honoring three individuals from a Perry organization.

The SBA recently announced the recipients for the 2025 Iowa Small Business Persons of the Year and Percival Scientific’s President and Chief Executive Officer Jake Oakland, Vice President of Sales Jamie Jackson, and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Joni Campidilli are among them. 

Jackson is grateful to be recognized but emphasizes that the entire company at Percival Scientific should be commended for their dedication. Oakland echoed Jackson’s comments as he mentions that there are 85 employees on staff that really help make the company thrive. Campidilli expresses how much she enjoys working in the Perry community.

“It’s rewarding to be apart of a company like Percival (Scientific) that provides good jobs and makes an economic impact in our local communities. I feel like that’s important for us.”

Jackson adds that Percival Scientific is proud to contribute to the agriculture, life sciences, and biotech work with cutting edge research in the state. Oakland details that he will be flying to Washington D.C. to accept an award on behalf of all three during National Small Business Week from May 4th-10th.
