The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track and Field Team came out on top in the outdoor opening meet at home.

ADM hosted Gilbert, Earlham, and Madrid High Schools for the Coed Early Bird Meet on Thursday, where the Tigers scored 217 points to win first place. Key place winners included Elise Coghlan (15.30) who captured first in the 100 meter hurdles, Brecken Morse (1:03.77) was second in the 400 meters, London Warmuth (5-04) was victorious in the high jump, followed by Calli Seehase (17-06) getting first place in the long jump, and Kennedy Stanford (37-10) acquiring the top spot in the shot put.

For the relays, ADM won the 800 sprint medley, the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle run, the 4×800 meter relay, and the distance medley relay. The Tigers will be back in action on Tuesday as they will participate in the Northwest Girls Track Invitational in Waukee at 4pm. The full results can be found here.
