The leader of the Perry Community School District outlines the future of the Elementary School redesign phase.
According to Superintendent Clark Wicks, the school board is working with the Energy Services and Facility Solutions company SitelogIQ from Minneapolis, Minnesota on ways to update Perry Elementary, which was built in 1992.
He details that the board met with the company several times during the month of March and on April 14th, SitelogIQ will make an appearance at the Perry School Board meeting to share a report about the progress that’s been made so far. Wicks is happy that things seem to be going well, and reveals a couple of additions that will be coming later on.
“We’re going to be having another new playground in the front and the back, and all of that takes a great deal of civil engineering, as well as working with playground people.”
Wicks says that if everything goes well with the report on the 14th, then the next steps would be to start construction over the summer on the playgrounds.
