The Adel Public Library is starting off the month of April by bringing in an Iowan author to discuss some significant topics.

According to Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz, adults over the age of 19 are welcome to stop by the library tomorrow to listen to Denison author Ann Kotz. Schwarz describes that Kotz will be talking about her most recently published book, Moonshine by Moonlight, which centers on the history of prohibition and bootlegging in Iowa.

Schwarz points out that Kotz will break down her process of writing the book as well as give participants an opportunity to ask questions. The event is open for free with no registration being required, and is set to happen from 10-11am.
