Coach Hernandez will manage his first game as the Jayettes open the soccer season tonight.  The first year coach will welcome Des Moines Christian to Dewey Field.

The Jayettes have struggled against the Lions in recent years.  Perry has fell by a combined score 31-0 in the last three matches.  They have also fell in the last six contests.

The Jayettes return a lot of girls from last year’s 4-14 squad.  Four of their top five goal scorers return a year older.  Captains Amy Diaz and Yami Gonzalez will look to lead the Jayettes to a 1-0 record.  Dewey Field will host the game tonight at 7P.
