The soccer season officially begins today for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs as both Mustang soccer teams make the journey to Johnston High School for the season opener against the Dragons. The Mustangs girls take the pitch first at 5:30pm with the boys to follow at 7:30.

Both Mustang teams had very successful seasons last year as both Mustang teams fought the entire way through the state championship taking home both the girls and boys 3A State Championship home to Dallas Center-Grimes.

The Mustangs look for a repeat of last season success but first, must face off against the Johnston Dragons to officially kick off the season. The girls go to battle first, with the soccer match set to begin at 5:30pm.
