Bryce Stalder, the 2022 Greene County High School graduate, is having an outstanding baseball season at Grand View University in Des Moines, as are the Vikings. The outfielder has a .345 batting average through games of March 31. He’s hit two homeruns, had six doubles, and knocked in 16 runs. In addition, Stalder is four for four in stolen base attempts, has walked 10 times and been hit by pitches another five. His on-base percentage is a very good .473.

The Vikings stand at 21-3 overall and 15-1 in the Heart of America Conference with a trip to Canton, MO to face Culver-Stockton College April 6-7. Grand View is riding a 17 game winning streak.

Stalder is also the assistant baseball coach for the Greene County Rams and his Dad, Kyle, is the head coach. Kyle and his wife, Cheri, are Bryce’s parents.
