In their first meet of the season, the AC/GC Chargers boys track and field team came out on top.

There were four gold medal placements for the Chargers at the Griswold/Stanton Relays, with Mike Fuller taking top spot in the discus with a throw of 149 feet two inches. Other top performances were the sprint medley team running a time of 1:38.09, the 4X100 meter relay team with a time of 44.79 seconds and the 4X110 meter shuttle hurdle team with a time of 1:02.72.

There were also three silver medal finishes, with Joe Crawford finishing in 11.6 seconds in the 100 meter dash, Tate Fever finishing the 400 meter hurdles in 57.62 seconds, and the 4X400 meter relay team finishing in 3:37.95. Three bronze medal finishes were also recorded, with Fever completing the 110 meter high hurdles in 15.54 seconds, Dean Vela finishing the 200 meter dash in 23.76 seconds, and Fuller throwing the shot put 44 feet 9.5 inches.
