
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field Teams competed in the Waukee Northwest Invitational on Thursday, getting a top-five finish.
ADM scored 31 total points getting fourth place in front of Des Moines Roosevelt, Dallas Center-Grimes, and Indianola. Top finishes for the Tigers included Elise Coghlan (15.11) winning the 100 meters hurdles and Bella Smyth (15.52) coming in third, Calli Seehase (12.83) capturing second in the 100 meter sprint, Avery Lenaghan (2:48.78) in eighth place for the 800 meters, and Elliotte Von Roden (5:16.53) in eighth for the 1500 meters.
In the field events, London Warmuth won the high jump with five feet and six inches, Aniston Tollari (16-03.75) was victorious in the long jump, and Kennedy Stanford threw 36 feet and eight inches for third in the shot put.
ADM’s 4×100 relay placed fourth, the shuttle hurdle relay tallied second, the 4×200 meter relay was third and the 4×400 meter relay marked third place. The Tigers will be in Adel on Tuesday for the ADM Hugh Norman Coed Relays. For the full results from the Northwest Invite, click here.
