Perry boys soccer played two matches at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines on Saturday.  The Bluejays struggled on the Campus of Drake University giving up 11 goals between both games.  The day started with Perry falling to Des Moines North, 5-0.  The Polar Bears scored 4 second half goals to pull away. While, Des Moines Hoover scored three goals in each half and topped Perry for a seventh straight match, 6-0.

Since Mediacom Stadium opened in the fall of 2023, the Bluejays are searching for their first win there. Three losses last year and another two this season have Perry 0-5 in new stadium.

The Bluejays sit at 1-2 ahead on tomorrow’s tilt with the Monarchs in Denison.  Kickoff is set for 6P.
