The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet twice today.

The Board will meet at 8:30am to hold the public hearing on the proposed property tax levy for the 2026 fiscal year. Then following the hearing, the Board will not take any action but to adjourn the meeting.

Then, at 9am will be the regular meeting. The Board will consider for approval a Louis Dreyfus funding request for the Friends of the Greene County Parks, along with a funding request for the Paton-Churdan Early Learning Center. The Board will then hold a discussion about the Builders Risk Insurance for the county jail project, a resolution for an update for the comprehensive solid waste management plan, and a federal aid agreement for a bridge over Beaver Creek. Next, they will consider approving the County Recorder’s quarterly report of fees, the County Auditor’s passport quarterly report, and set the public hearing for the 2026 fiscal year budget.
