Golf officially begins today for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang girls as the Mustangs traveled to The Legacy Golf Club in Norwalk for the Northwest Girls Golf Invitational hosted by Waukee Northwest. The golf action is set to begin at 10am.

The Mustang girls will be one of five teams competing in the Northwest Girls Golf Invitational as Dallas Center-Grimes will face off against golfers from: Ankeny, Norwalk, Waukee and Waukee Northwest. Last season as a freshman, Joey Moberg stole the show for the Mustangs, leading the DCG girls in every category with the lowest 9 hole low score, 9 hole average, 18 hole low score and 18 hole average.

Moberg played in eleven, 18 hole rounds last year and is ready to return to the course for another season of Mustang golf. Dallas Center-Grimes teas off for the first time to start the 2024-25 golf season today.
