The Panorama Panthers boys track team traveled to Ogden on Thursday as the Panthers had their first outdoor meet of the season. Coach Dahlhauser praised the underclassmen, stating that the “young guys weren’t phased or intimidated by the atmosphere or the competition.”
Senior Noah Poldberg had an incredible outing for the Panthers as he placed 1st in the 3200 and 2nd in the 1600. Poldberg, was also a member of the spring musical, and had missed the BVU Indoor meet and multiple practices, but still showed up in a big way in Ogden to kick off his senior track season with a 1st and 2nd place finish.
The Panther track teams are back in action tomorrow as Panorama plays host to 12 other teams for the Kip Janvrin Invitational. The home meet for the Panthers is set to begin tomorrow at 4:30pm.
