The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tomorrow.

The council will have a discussion pertaining to an update with the Rapids Street reconstruction project as well as the Water Tower Park. The council will also look to set a couple of public hearings to review the South Dallas County Landfill Transition Plan and the fiscal year 2024-25 budget amendments.

Items on the agenda seeking approval include a first reading for an ordinance to adopt building codes and storm shelters in Adel, a resolution to accept the fiscal year 2025-26 budget, a resolution to accept the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Adel, the Adel Police Department, and Teamsters Local Union 238, and a resolution for the fiscal year 2025-26 Non-Union City Employee Wages.

The council will have a conversation and possibly take action on the Island Park Campground Lease and Operations Agreement as well as the Pre-Annexation Agreement Template between the City of Adel and property owners. 

The meeting will be taking place tomorrow evening at 6pm at Adel City Hall, 301 S. 10th Street.
