Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is prepared for their library programs this month.

Program Director Shelby Van Horn says they have five different days that they will be doing the library program in different towns throughout the county. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what they’ll be doing at the programs.

“Our library program theme this month is dirt and worms. So we’re going to be learning all things dirt and worms and making some delicious snacks to go along with.”

Van Horn mentions that their first program will be at the Casey Public Library on Wednesday from 3-4pm. She adds that there will be two events next week, with one at the Stuart Public Library on April 14th and the second at the Panora Public Library, with both from 4-5pm. The fourth program will be held at the Jamaica Public Library on April 24th from 4-5pm, and the final one will be held at the Bayard Public Library on April 30th from 2:30-3:30pm.
