Registration is currently open for an upcoming yearly event in Adel that’s happening towards the end of April.

The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Celebrate Adel event on April 24th at the Country Lane Lodge. According to Communications and Member Engagement Coordinator Casey Wheeler, over 250 attendees are planning on coming to honor the Business and Citizen of the Year Award recipients. She says that 13 local vendors will be catering at the event between the cities of Adel and DeSoto. Wheeler tells Raccoon Valley Radio what she’s anticipating the most about the night.

“I’m really looking forward to celebrating the 2024 Business of the Year and Citizen of the Year. We have a “Taste of Adel” where all of our food vendors come and showcase a few items, so I’m really excited to be able to try those, and really engage with some of the chamber members that I haven’t met yet.”

Wheeler outlines that Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School’s Head Football Coach Doug Winkowitsch will be giving a motivational speech to attendees. She indicates the event is open to chamber members as well as invited guests, and describes that registration is available until the night of the event begins at 5pm.
