On Tuesday, the Panorama Panthers track teams played host to 14 other teams for the Kip Janvrin Invitational. The Panther girls found great success out on the track, achieving 9 new personal best times or records while at home.

In shot put, both Gracie Recker and Emma Walker would throw for a new personal best, with Recker throwing 34 feet 8.75 inches and Walker throwing 31 feet 10 inches. Recker would shine again in the 400, with a new personal best time of 1:07.07 seconds.

In the 100, freshman Miyah Small would achieve a new personal best with a time of 15.7 seconds, alongside fellow freshman Malia Jacobsen who also achieved a new personal best time with 15.55 seconds.

In the 200, Jacobsen would shine again with a new personal best time of 32.84 seconds. Junior Ella Carico would also achieve a new personal best, with a time of 30.41 seconds.

The final two new personal best times come from Kylie Rochholz in the 800 with a time of 2:28 seconds while freshman Corrie Knapp would achieve a new personal best time in the 1500 meter run crossing the finish line in 6:18 minutes.

Panther girls track is back in action tomorrow as the Panthers travel to Greene County Middle School for the Ram Early Bird Meet at 4:30pm.
