An accident involving a camper was apart of a crash that happened Friday afternoon on the outskirts of Perry.

Law enforcement responded to a collision that occurred at the intersection of Soumas Avenue and Highway 141 next to the Casey’s General Store where a pickup truck carrying a camper was sitting in the median. A separate vehicle with damage to its front end was off the side of the road on Willis Avenue heading into Perry. 

First responders that were on the scene included the Perry Police Department, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dallas County Emergency Medical Services. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
