Yesterday, the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys tennis team traveled to Pella Christian High School for their tennis season opener against the Eagles. The Mustangs squeaked by with a 1 points victory, defeating Pella Christian 6-5.

Brendan Fitzhugh, Ky Wilkens, Griffin Kleis, Louis Mbaya, and Logan Halverson and Aaron Bonefas would compete for the Mustangs and find success against the Eagles. Fitzhugh would win his set 2-1, Wilkens would win 2-0, Kleis would fall 2-0, Mbaya would bounce back and win 2-1, Halverson would also win 2-1 with Bonefas to wrap up the night falling to the Eagles 2-1.

Now at 1-0 after the season opener yesterday, the Mustangs prepare for their next contest on Monday as Dallas Center-Grimes is set to travel to Caldwell Park in Pella for triangular action.
