An exciting event coming to the City of Bouton in May is cutting off their pre-registration today.

The Bouton Fire and Rescue is hosting the Second Annual Fun Ride on May 17th. According to Organizer Talya Culbertson, people are welcome to bring Utility-Task Vehicles, All-Terrain Vehicles, or Jeeps to the fire station, then will ride together down county and gravel roads, stopping at several establishments in a variety of communities along the way before returning to Drifters in Bouton for a prize drawing at the end of the night. Since this will be the second year doing the event, Culbertson reflects on her favorite part of it in 2024.

“Last year, we had beautiful weather, we couldn’t have asked for a better day for it. And, I think it just really blew me away that we had so many people turn out. I think we had almost 120 people that rode with us. Everybody was so kind, (we) had so much fun, (and) got great feedback on the event, which made it all that more exciting when it came to planning it for this year. So, we’re hoping to see some more of those faces and have fun again.”

Culbertson invites families to register as they’ll be able to ride together, or people can choose to go solo as well. Pre-registration ends today, but people are allowed to sign-up all the way until the day of the event. Culbertson details that the ride will begin on May 17th at 10:30am at the Bouton Fire Station, but people will need to either check in or register at 9am.
