The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer Team lost their third game of the season, after falling to Des Moines Christian.
The Lions defeated the Tigers 4-2 on Thursday, as two late goals prevailed Des Moines Christian to remain undefeated. ADM would capture the first goal three minutes into the game as Brenna Seidl got a nice assist from senior Hannah Desmarais. The Lions tied things up six minutes later, but a little over a minute off the clock, senior Jada Grove tallied the second for the Tigers as they reclaimed a 2-1 lead, but Des Moines Christian would get the equalizer to be knotted up at two for the first half.
In the second half, no scoring was done until the final five minutes where the Lions were able to push one over the head of goalie Alayna Freeman and a second one came with a minute and a half left to cement the 4-2 victory for Des Moines Christian. With the loss, ADM drops to 1-3 and will now host game number three of their six-game homestand against Gilbert on Monday at 6pm.
