Thursday night the AC/GC Chargers boys track and field team was in Van Meter competing.

The team came away with a 3rd place overall finish, securing four gold, four silver and two bronze medal finishes, with a total of 19 scoring finishes. The gold medals were awarded to the 4X100 meter relay team with a finish of 44.14 seconds, the 4X400 meter relay team with a finish of 3:32.78, the shuttle hurdle team with a finish of 1:02.5 and Mike Fuller in the discus with a throw of 143 feet 11 inches.

The silver medal finishes came from Luke Brincks in the 200 meter dash with a time of 0:23.68, Brexton Schneider in the 110 meter high hurdles with a time of 0:15.44, the 4X200 meter relay team with a finish of 1:33.75, and Mike Fuller in the shot put with a throw of 44’ 11.5”. The two bronze medals came from Brexton Schneider in the 100 meter dash with a time of 0:11.49 and the sprint medley team with a finish of 1:38.17. A full list of results can be found below.
