Tonight is the 2025 Greene County High School Junior/Senior Prom and they are taking it back to the disco era.

Junior Devin Parker came up with this year’s theme of “Neon Lights and Disco Nights” where the decorations will include lots of bright colors, mini disco balls as centerpieces on the tables and outfits that celebrate that time period. The schedule of events begins with the Grand March at the high school auditorium at 6pm, followed by the banquet being served at 7pm at the Greene Room Events Center at Wild Raso Casino and Resort. 

Students can then enjoy the dance from 8-10:30pm at the Events Center, before heading back to the high school commons for After Prom from 11:30pm-3am on Saturday. Junior Kate Mobley says there will be lots of games, prizes and a hypnotist at After Prom, with the doors opening at 10:30pm and then are locked at 11:30pm sharp.
