The Perry School Board will meet in regular session on Monday.

The board is set to have a public hearing on the fiscal year 2025-26 budget and will consider adopting it following the hearing. Other items on the agenda seeking approval include Des Moines Area Community College offering online and in-person course lists for the high school for the 2025-26 school year, an University of Northern Iowa Memorandum of Understanding Teacher Registered Apprenticeship Program, along with considering to accept the fiscal year 2024 final audit report, an early graduation request, and review an agreement between the Perry Community School District and Morningside University for student teaching for the 2025-26 school year.

Additional items on the agenda up for approval feature a summer program for Perry’s Academic, Cultural, Enrichment Services (PACES), a PACES Program Director job description, lawn care services of No Lawn Left Behind, a letter of agreement between Courtney Bahney and the Perry Community School District, the first reading of a board policy for student use of personal electronic devices and regulation, and set a public hearing date for the Flexible Account Transfer.

The meeting will end with the board entering into a closed session to have an annual evaluation of Superintendent Clark Wicks. The meeting will take place Monday evening at 6pm inside the high school Brady Library, 1200 18th Street.
