With the Easter holiday approaching next Sunday, a few communities in Dallas County will host festivities tomorrow.

The City of Adel will have two events and the City of Bouton will also hold one. The Adel Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt is happening at the Kinnick Feller Riverside Park from 3-4:30pm. According to the Kiwanis Club, children up to 10 years old will be split up into different groups. Kids from zero to three years of age will start at 3pm, followed by four to six years olds at 3:30pm, and then ages seven to 10 to go at 4pm. The event will feature pictures with the Easter Bunny, fire trucks that kids can explore, and attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable donations for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry.

The Adel Parks and Recreation Department will also host a Dog Easter Egg Hunt at the Adel Dog Park at 1pm where residents can bring their animals to sniff for treat-stuffed eggs, bunny ears and more. The Rec Department asks that dogs remain on a leash for the duration of the event. Finally, the City of Bouton will have an egg hunt for children at the community park at 2pm.
