On Friday, the West Central Valley Wildcat soccer teams traveled to Clarke Community High School for soccer action against the Clarke Indians. Both Wildcat teams found success, with the West Central Valley girls picking up a 10-0 shut out victory over the Indians, while the boys followed and picked up a 5-3 victory over Clarke.

In the girls match up, 7 different Wildcat girls would score, with Richter achieving the hat trick, scoring 2 goals in the second half alone. It would be a Wildcat clinic on the pitch, as West Central Valley would score 3 goals in the first half and an impressive 7 goals in the second half to secure a 10-0 shut out victory over Clarke.

In the boys contest, Rummel would also achieve the hat trick against the Indians, scoring all three goals in the second half. Brandon would score in the 24th minute, but Clarke would also score in the 24th minute to bring the score to 1-1. Clarke would score again in the 26th minute to secure a 2-1 lead going into the second half. Rummel and Huerta would strike to secure a 5-3 victory for the West Central Valley boys.

The Wildcat girls advance to 2-3 while the Wildcat boys remain undefeated at 5-0. Both teams travel to Wall Lake on Tuesday for battle against the Raiders.
