
The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field Teams were at Drake University on Saturday participating in a big-name meet.
ADM competed in the 2025 Jim Duncan Invitational against 31 other schools. Individually, for the girls, Calli Seehase placed seventh running 13.16 in the 100 meter dash, Brecken Morse (1:00.98) was ninth in the 400 meters, Josi Dufoe (16.05) and Elise Coghlan (16.25) went seventh and ninth respectively in the 100 meter hurdles, with Coghlan (1:09.08) and Madi James (1:09.50) being 10th and 12th in the 400 meter hurdles.
In the relays, the 4×100 shuttle hurdles team finished third with a time of 1:02.57, then the 4×100 meter and 4×200 meter relay teams garnered eighth place. For the field events, London Warmuth jumped five feet and seven inches to acquire second place for the high jump, Aniston Tollari (16-3) and Seehase (16-0.75) went 10th and 11th in the long jump, and Kennedy Stanford threw 37 feet and three inches to get second in the shot put.
On the boys side, Parker Hook ran 23.21 to get fifth place in the 200 meter dash, Corbin Reed (15.37) tallied third in the 110 meter hurdles, and it was Torin Timmerman running 10:04.40 for a 17th place in the 3200 meter run.
The relays for the Tiger boys saw the 4×200 meter team (1:29.81) achieve third, the 4×110 shuttle hurdles (1:02.88) got seventh, and the 800 meter sprint medley was 11th. The field events featured Kyler Chapman reaching six feet and two inches in the high jump to win the event with Will Grasty at six feet for sixth place, Reed (19-9.75) finished 10th in the long jump, and it was Caleb Oberhoffer in 13th after throwing 44 feet and eight inches in the shot put.
The boys were in action yesterday in Norwalk, while the girls will be traveling to Dallas Center-Grimes High School today at 4:30pm. For the full results, click here.
