Perry girls soccer traveled to Atlantic last night.  The Jayettes left with their first tie of the season in the 1-1 match. The Trojans scored first in the 15th minute. The Perry equalizer came in the 30th minute from Amelie Canales. The game would stay 1-1 for the remaining 50 minutes.

The Jayettes move to 2-3-1 with the draw.  The first tie comes six matches into the season. Draws have become a large part of high school soccer following the elimination of overtime and shootouts for 2025.

No rest for Perry, who returns to action tonight in Winterset.  Tonight’s match will be the fourth in five days for the Jayettes.
