The Adair – Casey and Guthrie Center School Boards will meet in regular joint session tonight.

The Boards will first hold a public hearing for the 2025-26 certified budget, along with a public hearing on the AC Elementary roof project plans and specifications, before the regular meeting. The meeting will start with a presentation by some of the seniors on their senior trip, before the Boards discuss bids for the AC Elementary roofing project, elementary literacy curriculum and the high school master calendar.

The Boards will then consider for approval the 2025-26 certified budget, the class of 2025 graduating seniors and the 2025-26 AC/GC employee benefit program. They will also consider for approval 2025-26 tentative agreement/staff salary increases, winter coaching contracts, certified and support staff contracts, along with administrative and other contracts all for the 2025-26 school year, and the 2024-25 adjusted school calendar.

The AC Board will consider for approval a resolution and awarding the contract for the elementary school roof project, and a mowing bid. The GC Board will discuss and possibly act on action items that include baseball bleachers as obsolete equipment and high school unit ventilators and condensing units. The meeting begins at 7pm in the AC/GC Junior High Media Center. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
