The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Track and Field Team captured the top spot at their latest meet in Norwalk.

ADM scored a total of 150.5 points on their way to win the Norwalk Boys Varsity Invitational against six other schools on Monday. Key individual races included Owen Rychnovsky (11.68) and Reed Obstarczyk (12.00) placing fourth and fifth in the 100 meter dash, Rychnovsky was also third (25.14) in the 200 meter dash, with Joseph Kitzinger winning the event at 24.64. In the 400 meters, Nick Subbert (57.28) and Isaac Chapman (57.73) went one and two, with Kayden Tritz coming in third in the 800 meter run at 2:28.46, Riley Milburn (5:34.80) tallied second in the 1600 meter run, and it was Luke Yanacheak getting second in the 3200 meter run at 12:11.96. 

For the relays, the Tigers were third in the 4×200 meters and first in the 4×800 meters. In the field events, Andre Taborga went 17 feet and two inches in the long jump, Ben Grife won the high jump at five feet and six inches while Maddox Pitzen (5-02.00) was right behind in second, Cael Murray (41-07.25) was third in the shot put, and it was Devin Gelhaar (119-02) and Latimer Timmerman (115-01) placing fourth and fifth in the discuss throw.

ADM will return to Adel to host the Boys Invitational versus six other schools, with the meet set to begin at 4:30pm.
