
Last night the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs soccer teams found success on the road picking up a sweep against the Pella Christian Eagles. The Mustang girls put on a clinic, defeating the Eagles 10-0 while the Mustang boys also secured a shut out victory defeating Pella Christian 4-0.
The Mustang girls took the lead in the first half and never looked back, scoring an incredible 9 goals in the first half alone. The Mustangs’ momentum would carry on into the second half where DCG would score once more to secure a 10-0 shut out victory. In the boys contest, DCG would also score a majority of their goals in the first half, scoring 3 goals within the first 40 minutes of the match. The Mustangs would score again in the second half to defeat the Eagles 4-0.
The Mustang girls advance to 2-2-1 while the boys move up to 4-1-1. The girls are back in action tomorrow at home against Valley while the boys return to action on Friday against ADM.
