
On Tuesday, both West Central Valley Wildcat soccer teams traveled to the Wall Lake Athletic Complex to face off against the East Sac County Raiders. Both Wildcat teams came out on top securing a West Central Valley sweep, as the girls defeated the Raiders 2-1 with the boys to follow picking up a 4-0 shut out victory over East Sac County.
In the girls contest, sophomore Addilyn Richter would score both goals for the Wildcats, taking the lead within the first 5 minutes of the game. East Sac County would tie the game in the second half scoring in the 56th minute, but Richter would score another goal in the 66th minute to secure a 2-1 victory for WCV.
In the boys contest, the Wildcats would take the lead in the first and never looked back, as Huerta and Diaz would score in the 18th and 23rd minute respectively. Diaz would score again in the 51st minute, followed by Brandon in the 55th securing a 4-0 shut out victory for the Wildcats.
The now 3-3 Wildcat girls are back in action today as they play host to the Atlantic Trojans. The girls take the pitch at 5pm.
