Adair County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be holding a meeting soon for those interested in showing horses at this year’s Adair County Fair.
Youth Coordinator Caroline Savage says that the meeting will be on April 27th, and will be held at the Extension Office in Greenfield. She tells Racoon Valley Radio what the meeting will be about.
“They’re going to go over the practice schedule, discuss awards and buckles for the 2025 Adair County Fair. They’ll discuss the raffle that is hosted at the fair each year, as well as some project ideas for fair improvement. So if you are a horse project member, be here on the 27th.”
Savage mentions that this is an important meeting for all horse project exhibitors, because it helps them discuss what they want to see at the fair, and decide how they want things to go. The meeting will begin at noon on April 27th.
