With Easter happening on Sunday, there are still a few opportunities left for kids in Greene County to enjoy looking for candy.

The Abundant Life Ministries in Jefferson is hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt at 11am. The egg hunt is for kids 11 and younger, and there is a coloring contest, where winners will receive prizes. There will also be free train rides for the kids and free food for everyone that attends.

In the city of Paton, the Easter Bunny will be at the community center for all ages of youth to take pictures at 10am, followed by the Easter Egg Hunt at the City Park. The event is free for all kids to participate, with an area for the younger kids to look for eggs, while the older kids will have their own section.

Additionally, the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue Department is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm at the City Park, with registrations beginning at 12:30pm. There will be three age groups, including 1-3 year olds, 4-6 year olds, and those youth that are ages 7-9.
