The Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center FFA Chapter has a few events coming up in the start of May.

Advisor Skie Shull says that they are hosting their annual Chapter Banquet on May 4th. She explains that the event will be held at the Event Center at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds in Guthrie Center, with the night to start with a meal catered by Cafe on the Hill at 5:30pm, and individual, Chapter and honorary awards to be presented afterwards.

Shull tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they are also preparing for the annual plant sale.

“The kids in my horticulture class are working really hard to make sure that our greenhouse looks nice and all the plants are looking nice for that.”

Shull mentions that the plant sale will be from May 8th to the 10th. She adds that they will have order pick ups will be available in Adair on May 8th from 4-5pm, Guthrie Center on May 9th from 3-5:30pm, and an open greenhouse will be held May 10th from 9-11am.
