The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday morning.
The Board approved the five year construction plan, fiscal year 2026 Iowa Department of Transportation budget, and to sign three funding agreements for bridge projects. County Engineer Josh Sebern discussed the five year construction plan with the Board, mentioning that the Community Funding Grant through Congressman Zach Nunn’s office was an option available to them once again if they were awarded it after applying, and worked with him to come to a decision to prioritize using current funds for work on County Road P48. The Board also discussed having the Iowa State Association of Counties in for a visit, and approved appointing Supervisors Chair Maggie Armstrong be the point of contact for setting up that visit.
