As heard last night on 94.3, 99.7, and AM 1310 KDLS, Perry boy’s soccer hosted Greene County.  The Bluejays picked up the win on Dewey Field 4-1.  Neither team scored in the first half as the game was played to no score.  The Rams got on the board first in the 50th minute.  The equalizer came from Jacobo Cerna-Gomez in the 54th minute.  The game winner came from Jonatan Banuelos in the 62nd minute.  The senior found the back of the net an additional two times to finish with the hat trick.   Banuelos has now scored 9 goals across the last two matches.

Perry controls their own destiny for winning the Heart of Iowa Conference.  Perry now sits at 3-0 with two conference games to go.  Their overall record improved to 6-1-3 on the year after the victory.  Next up is a trip to Panora tomorrow.  Kickoff is set for 7:30P.
