Competition begins to intensify for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs Mario Kart esports team as the Mustangs battled the Norwalk Warriors on the digital race track yesterday. The Mustangs would battle, but unfortunately would be shut out by the Warriors falling in the first two races out of the best of three series.

While the Mustangs were not able to pick up a victory against the Warriors, Dallas Center-Grimes did hang on and compete with Norwalk. In the first race, the Mustangs would fall by only 6 points, and would battle back even closer in the second race but unfortunately would still fall by just two points, 79-77.

With this loss, the Mustang Mario Kart esports team falls to 3-3 and fall to rank 6 in Class 2 Division 1 play.
