ADM seniors Kennedy Sorber, Hannah Desmarais, and Jada Grove

First year Head Coach Rachel Harada is loving what she is seeing from her upperclassmen on the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer Team.

ADM has six seniors on the 2025 squad and Harada expresses that she’s fortunate to have a great group to start off her coaching career. She says that each one brings experience, talent, and hard work to the table every single day. Harada admires that they’re doing their best to take the younger teammates under their wing.

“They do a really good job of leading by example, and I think they do a wonderful job of ensuring that all the girls on the team know that they’re a value to the team and that they have a role to play. So really encouraging positive attitudes and engagement, no matter what your role is on the team. That’s how our seniors have been showing up in a big way.”

The seniors on this year’s squad include Kathryn Ransom, Caitlin Philpott, Alayna Freeman, Kennedy Sorber, Hannah Desmarais, and Jada Grove. ADM is sitting at 5-4 on the season as they’ll host Des Moines Roosevelt at Tiger Stadium in Adel Friday at 7pm.
