A good day of weather for high school golf on Tuesday saw the Greene County teams venture north. The girls played at Webster City and the boys met St. Edmond north of Ft. Doge at the Municipal Golf Course.

Coach Heath Telleen’s girls’ team won at the Webster City Links course vs. the Webster City Lynx, 214-231. Junior Maya Telleen of the Rams was meet medalist with a round of 50 for nine holes. Junior Alivia Cornell and senior Maggie Mikkelsen each shot 54 with 56 from junior Taylor Johnston. Coach Tellen told Raccoon Valley Radio the girls played on a nice course with nice weather.

Coach Kyle Kinne’s boys’ squad were missing nine golfers due to Greene County soccer and track & field. Despite being shorthanded the Rams won vs. the Gaels 180-185. Louis Schneider and Keaton Hinote both shot 43 with Schneider taking medalist honors with Hinote runner-up medalist. Conner Mc Andrews and Nathan Towers each shot 47.
