Perry boy’s track and field traveled to Carlisle Tuesday night.  The Bluejays placed eighth out of ten schools.  The winner of the meet was Indianola with 145 team points.  Second went to Norwalk with 130 points.  Perry finished the evening with 28.

The Bluejays were led by the Distance Medley team who secured second place with a time of 3:55.63.  Owen Myers added a top three finish in the 400M Hurdles (56.60). The Perry 4X200 Relay also nabbed third (1:34.15).

Action resumes tonight at 4:30P with a trip to Boone for a coed meet.  Six schools are scheduled to compete on the boy’s side.  The regular season is winding down with just two weeks until Districts in Winterset on May 15th.
